Christmas Contest and Theme!!
Hi everyone!! :wave:
Just a quick journal to remind you we are holding our first contest, for this Christmas - or for those who prefer not to enter contests, we also have a theme for the month.

The contest and theme will close 21st December 2017 at 6pm Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time so you have just on 2 weeks to enter!!
1st Prize 500 points
2nd Prize 300 points
3rd Prize 200 points
Prizes may be more if I get more donations!
Don't forget too, we do accept traditional and digital art so if you are having difficulty getting a photo you think is OK

Bronwyn :iconBGai: has asked if everyone can be patient for a few days. She has no internet connection at the moment I :iconvanndra: have a family wedding and will be tied up with that for a few days and Zee :iconzeeshiking:, has also got some internet issues :no: Technology is great when it works :)
We will do what we can, but some submissions might take a while to be put into the correct folder after acceptance.

RULE CHANGE to what we will accept!!
For some time now I've wanted to do this and I did try getting members' opinion through a poll a while back but didn't get a very good response on the poll so didn't do it then. I decided to go ahead with it now -
Heavens-On-Earth will now accept fractals!! BUT...
They have to be clearly about nature, not man made objects, building etc, like any other image we accept - AND not too abstract and hard to recognise.
If you aren't sure check the new folder - Art - Nature Fractals, or just submit and we will decide, though be prepared, if it is not clearly recognisable, we WILL decline - nicely! :D

I have to say I am very surprised just how quiet this group is - especially considering we are just a tiny bit short of 600 members!
We have only had 25 submissions for the monthly theme - Christmas - probably the most relaxed theme this group could run as far as man made objects is concerned. http://fav.me/dapbf21
